Hey guys in this video I am going to talk about — How To Write BlOG That Ranks Page #1 on Google (Step by Step)
What I am going to share today is a tested and proven strategy. I have tested it hundreds of times and using the same SEO tips, i have been scoring many top rankings in Google for my own sites and for our clients..And NOW I am going to share the exact same strategy with you here in this video (STEP by STEP).
Trust me, you don’t want to miss any part of this video as what you see here in this short 9 mins of the video is 9 years of research and experience….so watch it till the end without skipping.
So let’s get started…
Research your KW
Use Google autofill . KW …. Or KW a… KW B…
Example: Best SEO …. Best Keto diet for …
Google also gives you suggestions at the bottom of the page.
You can also use Google’s free tool G ads keyword planner or SEO tool semrush where you just have to enter keywords and it will give plenty of kw ideas
Go for LONG TAIL KW. Ranking for “Keto diet for diabetics” is much easier than ranking for a short and generic kw like “Keto diet” so create your blog around a specific query, niche or long-tail kw
Check out the competition in search results for your long-tail keywords.
How to?
Download Moz bar tool. It gives website authority score DA: 1 to 100
Check if low DA sites are ranking for a topic. If they can rank, it means you can outrank them by writing a better article
See the quality of articles ranking. Can you do a better and longer well-researched article? Take inspiration from them and writer a better article
Check the intent of user’s search query. Are they looking for tips or services or a product? The best way to find out is – simply to search your target kw in Google and see what kind of things are ranking for that topic- are they blogs, services or products.
Write a longer article. Research says that longer articles rank better but of course you should make sure the article topic genuinely demands more research and more content. Don’t just write for the sake of writing a long article.
Ideally 1500-2K words depending on the topic
Write a catchy Title so more users click on your result out of 10 results they see in Google. Why? Because CTR is a ranking factor
Clickbait is spam only when you trick user but if you really deliver what you said in the title then its all good.
Add your target keywords to the URL of the blog. Keep URL short so only add keywords not the whole title of the blog in URL.
Add your target keyword multiple times. Also, add KW variations or synonyms of the KW. Ex: total 5-6 times in 1000 words article.
KW in the starting of the article (first paragraph)
Answer the query asap in the article. If the topic is a specific question for example: What is the average cost of running an aircon in Australia? Then answer it in 2nd paragraph. This can become SNIPPET
Add media in your article to make it entertaining and give a better user experience. Add videos – search topic on YT and simply embed in your article. Add images, infographics etc.
Make it well-formatted to make it fun to read.
Add keyword in title and ALT tag of the image and videos because Google can’t read images but they can read the ALT and title.
Google tracks time spent on the site. Higher means better ranking
If users click on your blog, say they didn’t like it and went back to Google then Google knows that they sent you traffic but they came back pretty quick. This can hurt your rankings.
Add an author box below the article and write your bio or overview of the author. Also, link out to authors social channels. This adds credibility.
Especially in YMYL topics (your money your life) topics, Google prefers to rank the experts rather than just a blogger so if you are an expert in your field make a point to mention it in your author bio below each article.
INTERNAL LINKING – link to other articles on your site so the user stays on your site. A reduced bounce rate is also a ranking factor.
You can also link out to other sites– it may be resources, surveys, research, some tools or software site that you may have mentioned in your blog.
In fact, it is recommended that you link out to other resources as it shows that you trying to help users by giving them different resources.
Just be aware that you do not link out to low-quality sites as that can backfire and may fall into spam.
Add a sidebar for better conversion – add your about us text, enquiry forms for the service you provide or add products there to give them more exposure.
Make sure your website loads fast so avoid adding heavy images to your blog. Use online tools to compress the image size. It’s worth investing in good hosting for faster speeds.
Make sure your site is mobile friendly because its a ranking factors. Today most of the users browse the web on mobile so if your site is not mobile responsive then users will leave your blog as there are plenty of other options out there.
Outreach – If other sites link to your blog then it further boosts your chances to rank better. So reach out to other related blogs on the web and let them know that you have written an awesome full guide on that topic and if they would like to link to your article from their blog.
More link means better ranking.
